ESPRESSO MARTINI: 5 STEPS TO MAKE THE PERFECT LOCKDOWN LIFE SUPPORT

The espresso martini is a classic cocktail that has kept people partying into the early hours since the 60’s. Unfortunately, there isn’t much partying at the moment but this is the perfect way to spicy up isolation that’s for sure. The drink has become so popular that it’s now the 9th most popular cocktail (best Jeremy Clarkson voice) IN THE WORLD. It’s so damn popular that bartenders can’t make the bloody things quick enough, literally. That’s where Kuka coffee comes in. Think of this as a hassle-free espresso martini recipe. 

 

What you’ll need

 1 Cocktail Shaker

Ice 

Fine strainer (optional) 

Coupette/Martini Glass. Wine glass if not.

Jigger/Measuring vessel.

50ml - Kuka Coffee - Espresso Strength

40ml - Vodka - Black Cow

10ml - Simple Syrup

10ml - Coffee Liqueur - Kaluha

Nutmeg

 

Method

  1. Chuck all the ingredients into your shaker

  2. Fill your shaker ¾ full with ice

  3. Put the lid on (very important)

  4. Hard shake for 15-20 secs 

  5. Strain into your chilled glass and garnish with grated nutmeg
